Higher Technical School registration reservation through the web
The Melo Higher Technical School is preparing to begin receiving all the documentation of its future students starting Tuesday of next week.
These days, those who want to study at the institution must make a reservation through the website of the General Directorate of Technical and Professional Education.
Looking ahead to 2026, the proposal for the educational center on Treinta y Tres and Manuel Oribe streets in the capital of the department of Cerro Largo is varied and renewed.
“At this moment the web reservation is being made through the page and then, starting on Tuesday the 16th, they will complete the registration, bringing all the documentation requested by attending the Higher Technical School of Melo in this case” explained the Professor David Amaral.
“As for the Techniques, which are a tertiary level, higher than high school, we have the Techniques in Gastronomy and Social Communication as new” highlighted the Director of the Higher Technical School.
“We already have a list of pre-registered people, who have expressed their interest, who will now have to make their registration effective” Amaral recalled at a press conference.
“Then we have Logistics and Creation that is already in the matrix of our School” he stated.
“In relation to the baccalaureates, what is new is that of Audiovisuals and Tourism” he remarked.
UTU courses are in high demand not only in Cerro Largo but throughout the country due to the rapid job placement they offer to young people, primarily. “We generally have great interest on the part of the community, on the part of young people and also adults in accessing our careers. We all know what UTU is as a reference in terms of the technical and technological training of its graduates” express.
From this week until the 16th inclusive, this registration reservation is enabled. “Subsequently, from the 16th onwards, this registration is carried out by providing the requested documentation. Our officials will assist you there” said David Amaral.
ORIENTATION TABLE
“Another new thing is that we are going to have a Guidance Table to collaborate with those students who are still undecided and do not know what career they are going to pursue” reported the Director of the Higher Technical School.
This Guidance Table will be made up of Members, Educators and References of the Avanza Plan.
“It is something that has always been done at UTU, but this time we are installing it again at the School so that the people, the students, above all, receive the guidance that they deserve and need” he stressed.
CLOSING A VERY GOOD YEAR
The Technical School is ending a very good year according to the consideration of the Management Team, teachers, officials and students.
“It was a year with a lot of activities of which we are very proud. We are going to continue working in this same line, always aiming to improve learning and always solving those things where we did not do so well. What did not go as we expected we will try to recover it, plan it, think about it together with the group to improve them” posed Professor David Amaral.
