After more than a month without posting on his Twitter account, former President Juan Carlos Varela reappeared today, Monday, March 20, on this social network to call former President Ricardo Martinelli a coward.
Varela had not tweeted since February 15 and this afternoon he commented on Martinelli’s publication where he referred to a police unit that according to him is “a human rights violator.”
“The chief in charge of the police contingent, today assigned to the Electoral Tribunal, due to the Cambio Democrático protests, is an officer named Billy. This is nothing more, and nothing less, than a gross violator of human rights who carried me out of a hospital late at night, with the sole intention of seeing if I died following the orders of the narco president of that year. Martinelli tweeted.
“Coward, respect the institutions of the Country,” Varela replied.
