The Cuban beach of Varadero appears today as the second best in the world according to Travelers Choica 2022, reviewed the TripAdvisor portal, considered a benchmark for travelers for a new destination or planning a trip.
The Varadero town, located on the north coast of the western province of Matanzas and 140 kilometers east of Havana, is preceded only by Grace Bay Beach, in the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Antilles, the source said.
The aforementioned website located a top 25 of these sites, which include the shores of Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, the United States, Aruba, Portugal, Italy, Australia, Hawaii, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Tanzania and Japan.
Varadero is an important tourist destination within the Caribbean area, its total area is 14.4 square kilometers, with an approximate length of 21 kilometers of beach and an average width of sand strip of 22 meters.
The facilities for nautical activities, events and incentive trips join its cultural and historical attractions, to guarantee the satisfaction of the clients who choose the spa, specialists from the so-called smokeless industry stand out.
