Today ‘La Ibérica’ has more than 54 stores throughout Peru.
It is worth mentioning that ‘La Ibérica’ was one of the companies affected by the marches against the government, according to Bernardo Suárez, general manager of the chain, who said “that the blockades on the highways, which prevented regular supply in areas such as Lima, Cusco and Puno, generated a 6% drop in sales.”
For this reason, the company has planned a strategy to exceed its sales this year.
CHOCOLATES FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
In this sense, the campaign for Valentine’s Day is the first step they want to take, this being a time when much of what has been lost can be recovered and their consumer audience expanded.
The idea is to produce a chocolate with a love theme. The product in question is called ‘Chocolate Heart’ with milk, made with 40% cocoa and comes in four-piece presentations.
The referential phrase for this campaign is ‘Say it with chocolate’, so it is expected to grow 12% at the business level.
