He Seville has made official this Friday afternoon the signing of the Argentine full-back Valentin Boatwho landed in the Andalusian capital on Thursday and is already the eighth reinforcement for the current season. Barco, only 20 years old, arrives on loan from the Brighton English until the end of this season.
Born in the Argentine town of May 25thBarco was trained in the lower categories of Boca Juniors, making the jump in just over three seasons to the first team since his start in the U-20 category at just 17 years old. It would be in the 2020/21 season in which he signed his debut with Boca Juniors in the Professional League, adding minutes in up to three league championship matches.
After a campaign without any minutes with the first team, he ended up breaking through the door with Boca Juniors in 2022/23, playing 11 Liga Profesional matches, 9 Copa Libertadores, 9 Copa de la Liga and 3 Copa Argentina matches, a title that he would end up lifting.
