The deputy of the Frente de Todos Eduardo Valdés affirmed this Thursday that just as “on November 17, 1972, (Juan) Perón returned, now Cristina returns”, when referring to the Act to be led in La Plata by Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to remember the half century of the return of the leader of Justicialism after 17 years of exile.
In statements to Futurock, Valdés said that “she is going to speak on the 50th anniversary of the return of General Perón, of the triumph of the generation that decided to fight for his return, that is his generation and ours.”
“They are afraid of Cristina’s leadership, whether she is a candidate or not. They want to exclude her from the court. But her image and her popularity are intact. Who can call massively, like what is going to be done on the 17th in La Plata? Who Can’t imagine her as a candidate? There are leaderships that are natural”
“We took up the legacy of our colleagues and thus managed to get Perón to return through a judicial ordeal and political ban, something similar is what happens to the Vice President. On November 17, ’72 Perón returned, now Cristina returns“, he remarked.
Valdés considered that “they are afraid of Cristina’s leadership, whether she is a candidate or not. They want to exclude her from the field. But her image and her popularity are intact. Who can summon massively, like what is going to be done on the 17th in La Plata “Who does not imagine her as a candidate? There are leaderships that are natural.”
The Buenos Aires legislator and leader denounced that there is judicial persecution by pointing out that “The intention to demonize Cristina comes before, we saw it with the allegations of the prosecutor (from the Vialidad trial, Diego Luciani). Cristina only asks for a fair trial, she sets an example before these persecutors with hatred”.
When asked about the different nuances within the ruling party, Valdés said: “I can’t imagine a STEP between Alberto (Fernández) and Cristina, I imagine that he is going to talk to her and they are going to solve it.”
