Adolfo Valderrama in an interview on Radio Panama referred to the cabinet appointments of the new government and considered that Mulino has done the right thing by appointing people with experience. He highlighted that these appointments will be complemented by vice ministers.
He said that the electoral campaign is over and now there is only one flag. Regarding the appointment of Felipe Chapman, he said that he does not see him doing anything improper or willing to do anything that is not correct.
For Valderrama, the elected deputies of the Assembly should bide their time and not start speaking prematurely. Regarding the independents, he said that they will not be the majority but they will have a great voice, they must begin to work in coordination.
Regarding the debacle of the Panameñista party in the May 5 elections, Valderrama considered that “We are going down the wrong route with fights and there is no approach that favors the party. «A former president (Mireya) who wants me to resign, a president (Blandón) who does not want to resign, it is the same fights and fights»
