The various facets, as well as the life and work of Roberto Valcárcel, one of the greatest Bolivian artists, can be seen in Valcárcel, the documentary, which will be screened today, from 20:00in the Guaraní hall of the Santa Cruz Plurinational Culture Center (CCP), located at René Moreno street # 369.
in the opportunity will be attended by Roberto Dottidirector of the documentary, who will offer a conversation at the end of the screening.
“Valcárcel has been a mentor and a reference, there are several generations of contemporary artists who have been influenced by his work, just as he himself was influenced by other artists of his time, of course. However, the legacy he leaves is vast and worth continuing to try to deepen his work ”, affirms the director.
The job includes the testimony of various characters who knew Valcárcel, who give important information about what he was like, how he thought and the value of his work and his intellectual production. “The documentary gives keys so that whoever sees it can understand, discover and rediscover passages of his thoughts and experiences. There are valuable testimonies from his environment and from those who worked with him, ”adds Dotti.
