Saint Dominic.- The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) predicted scattered rains with possible thunderstorms and occasional gusts of wind for this Friday, especially on the Caribbean coast and the border area.
The Onamet indicated that these precipitations will be more concentrated during the afternoon towards the towns of the northwest, north and center regions of the country, mainly towards: Elías Piña, San Juan, Azua, Santiago Rodríguez and Dajabón, product of the trough that is manifested at different levels of the troposphere.
For tomorrow, Saturday, Onamet predicts an air mass with lower moisture content in the forecast area.
However, another trough located east of Puerto Rico, which will be moving westward, in addition to a frontal system that will be located over the Bahamas, from which a trough will emerge to the northwest of the country, and the interaction of the effects of daytime warming will be generating cloudy afternoon hours, accompanied by isolated showers and occasional thunderstorms, over localities on the Caribbean coastal coast, the eastern and southeastern regions and the Central mountain range.
Temperatures will feel slightly warm during the day, however, pleasant to cool in the early morning and early morning hours, especially towards the mountain systems and valleys in the interior of the country.
