Vaguada will bring rain to the DR this weekend

Vaguada traerá lluvias para RD en fin de semana

Santo Domingo.- According to the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet), reported that, this weekendwill be registered passing showers in locations in the north and east of the country, due to the presence and incidence of a trough.

Among the affected provinces There will be: Puerto Plata, Espaillat, Samaná, Hato Mayor, La Altagracia, El Seibo, La Romana and San Pedro de Macorís.

The precipitation sand will extend to the towns of La Vega, Azua, Barahona, Pedernales, Bahoruco and San Juan. However, for the night, the sky will be mostly clear and slightly cloudy.

While, it is expected isolated showers in the provinces of Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, La Altagracia, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, San Juan, Pedernales and Barahona.

The trough, which would be accompanied by humid winds from the Atlantic, will cause moderate to heavy rainfall, as well as possible gusts of wind, during the afternoon and evening of this Friday in various regions of the country.
