Until February 15, all doses for the vaccination of children between five and 11 years of age will be distributed. The information was given by the Minister of Health, Marcelo Queiroga, in a conversation with journalists this Monday morning (7). “We are working hard to bring forward infant doses so that parents can exercise the right to vaccinate their children,” said the minister.
In Brazil, where 20 million children can receive the immunizer, the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) authorized pediatric vaccines from Pfizer and CoronaVac, which must be administered in two doses. “All vaccines were developed in a short period of time, but we have to move forward in a sustained way, bringing parents to seek immunization, without forcing them”, highlighted Queiroga.
