The Municipality of Montevideo reported that this Wednesday, August 31, Friday, September 9 and 16, vaccination days will be held until 3:30 p.m. Activity that takes place on the esplanade of the commune.
In a mobile of the Honorary Commission for the Fight against Tuberculosis, vaccines of the general scheme, anti-flu and against Covid-19 will be applied. The latter are supplied to people over 12 years of age and children from 5 to 11 years of age (Pfizer Pediatric).
Vaccination is free and it is necessary to present an identity card or passport.
The director of the Health Division of the commune, Virginia Cardozo, reported that this initiative seeks to generate reference points “where people can approach and receive the complete vaccination schedule.”
Also in the polyclinics of the Intendancy, all the vaccines of the general scheme and the anti-flu vaccine are available to all public. Vaccination days and times can be consulted at the nearest polyclinic.
