The requirement to show the vaccination card against COVID-19 with full immunization to enter closed public spaces -whose provision governs from this Friday, December 10- does not include hospitals, or warehouses, or pharmacies. This was clarified by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) through their social networks.

Supreme Decree No. 179-2021-PCM published last night in the Legal Regulations in the newspaper El Peruano, establishes the obligation to present the physical or virtual vaccination card to those over 18 years of age who wish to enter the closed premises where economic activities are carried out and cult.
The Ministry of Health clarified that this national compliance rule will have some exceptions. “Remember that entering pharmacies, hospitals and warehouses will be allowed without showing the vaccination card”, He specifies.
It should be noted that for any public space there is still the need to go with a KN95 mask or a surgical mask (with three folds) plus another one made of fabric.
The demonstration of having completed the vaccination against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus can be made by showing the physical or virtual card issued in Peru or abroad.

Likewise, the Supreme Decree provides that those over 18 who are going to make interprovincial trips (land and air), must show their vaccination card with the two doses against COVID-19 or, failing that, a negative molecular test taken 72 hours in advance.
If you have already received the two doses of the coronavirus vaccine, you can prove it with the physical card that was given to you at the vaccination center or download it easily just by entering this link or using the official application that will allow smartphone users to download the document.
