A total of 220 apartments from the Ciudad Esperanza housing project, in Arraiján, were delivered this Wednesday, December 14, benefiting some 770 people, who expected to receive their new homes before the end of 2022.
The handover ceremony was chaired by Vice President José Gabriel Carrizo Jaén, together with the Minister of Housing and Territorial Planning, Rogelio Paredes, who handed over the keys to the apartments that correspond to six towers of phase five of the nine that make up this project.
The authorities indicated that of the homes delivered, 100 are two-bedroomed and 120 are three-bedroomed; They have a living room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. They highlighted that 16 families with a person with a disability were among the beneficiaries.
This housing project includes basketball, soccer, and softball courts; neighborhood and children’s parks, commercial premises and a treatment plant.
In addition, it will have a four-lane highway, 1.6 kilometers long, that connects the residential area with the road to the port of Vacamonte.
