Vaca Díez had to play 15 games in the Simón Bolívar Cup to achieve the title and promotion to the Professional Division of Bolivian soccer. He added ten victories, two draws and suffered three defeats.
Two of those ten games won came via penalty kicks. The first against Fatic in the quarterfinals and the second against Libertad Gran Mamoré in the final played this Thursday.
