Vaca Díez is unstoppable in the Professional Division Cup. This Thursday they defeated Nacional Potosí 5-2, for the second date of group C, in a match played at the Roberto Jordán stadium in the city of Cobija.
The Pandinos add six points, product of two victories, since on the first date they had defeated (1-2) Blooming in Santa Cruz. For their part, the people from Potosi still haven’t won in the tournament, because on the first day they lost a draw (2-2) at home against Universitario de Vinto.
From the beginning things went well for the local team. Just two minutes after the game started, Juan Douglas Teles he opened the scoring with a header after a cross from the left.
The 2-0 was not long in coming, since after 4 minutes Franz Parada stretched the difference in a play very similar to that of the first goal: a cross from the left and a header.
Vaca Díez made merits to widen the difference and justice was done in the 41st minute, when Joel Fernández he hooked a ball inside the area and with a low, left-footed shot, beat goalkeeper Saidt Mustafá.
The fourth goal for the locals was scored again by Teles (54′) and again upside down. Vaca Díez repeated the formula of the center from the left and then celebrated. It should be noted that, in the three headed goals, the one who lifted the crosses was Pedro Taborga.
Almost immediately Nacional Potosí discounted with a left-footed shot from Marco Gutiérrez (56′). The visiting player received a ball inside the area and did not waste the opportunity to score.
It was definitely not the afternoon of the Potosinos who, at 64 minutes, he was left with ten players due to the expulsion of Saulo Guerra, for kicking a rival. The referee Sergio Pérez from La Paz had to resort to the VAR to make sure of the aggression.
Then there was time for Taborga to celebrate, he seemed to say that he got tired of making assists and wanted to score his goal. Thus, at minute 72, he received a cross from the right and only had to push it to make it 5-1.
The last goal was scored by Martín Chiatti (93′) for Nacional Potosí, who couldn’t play a good game and still hasn’t won in the tournament.
