The Technological University of Peru (UTP) has signed an agreement with Purdue University, located in the Top 10 public universities in the United States, according to the QS World University Rankings. In order to provide scholarships to students.
“At UTP we are committed to providing access to quality education and providing our students with opportunities that transform their lives. We are proud to train professionals prepared to lead projects that transcend borders,” said Jonathan Golergant, rector of UTP.

The director of Global Partnerships at Purdue University, Juan Diego Velasquez de Bedout, highlighted that ““This partnership between UTP and Purdue provides opportunities for students interested in research and exploration to hone their skills.”

Purdue University is recognized for its contributions in the fields of research, innovation and education and for its emphasis on the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Likewise, this agreement strengthens the relationship between both universities and seeks to give Peruvian students access to international-level academic training.
This academic alliance joins others that UTP already has with prominent foreign universities such as UCLA, Tecnológico de Monterrey, University of California – Berkeley, Arizona State University (ASU), among other renowned universities. In this way, it provides comprehensive training that prepares them to be competitive professionals in the globalized world.
