Utilities of the National Guarantees Fund exceeded $ 400,000 million in 2024

During 2024, the National Guarantees Fund (FNG) reaffirmed its role as the main driver of access to credit in Colombia, with achievements in inclusion, backed loans and territorial scope.

“Our commitment was Bring FNG guarantees to more Colombians, eliminating barriers for access to credit. Therefore, we close 2024 with the certainty of having promoted productive development of thousands of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the country, ”said Javier Cuéllar, president of the FNG.

In 2024, the FNG reached profits for more than $ 400,000 million, guaranteeing its financial sustainability and increasing its ability to support credit. In addition, the entity maintained its AAA rating with stable perspective.

In 2024, the FNG guaranteed more than 1.2 million credits, which allowed to support $ 21.2 billion. These resources benefited micro, small and medium enterprises, popular economy, the agricultural sector and female entrepreneurship, key sectors for the growth of the country.

In addition, The FNG achieved coverage in the 1,104 municipalities of the country, facilitating access to credit in areas where traditional banking has a lower presence. Through this strategy, more than 430,000 guarantees were granted in municipalities of categories 5 and 6, providing opportunities to entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs who could not access formal financing before.

The FNG became the first public company to occupy first place in the Great Place To Work ranking in Colombia.
