The Union of Education Workers (UTE) denounced that more than 500 applicants who had registered to study for teachers at the Mariano Acosta and Alicia Moreau de Justo schools will not be able to do so when the 2023 cohort closes this Friday in CABA in those institutions.

The teachers’ union stressed that The Buenos Aires Government will not open the 2023 cohort of the Physics or Language and Literature teachers of the Mariano Acosta and Alicia Moreau de Justo school and will not open the complementary registration or validation for the Psychopedagogy career of the latter institute.

“With these measures, the Ministry of Education intends to curtail the right of more than 500 applicants who have already enrolled in the aforementioned races, one of which is the only public proposal of its kind”indicated the UTE.

The union specified that with this measure “in addition to violating the right of the applicants, the jobs of more than 130 teachers in these careers are progressively put at risk”

To these teachers “the City Government denied their right to job security through securitization.”

The union declared itself in a state of alert and mobilization so that the 29 teachers of the City “continue standing”
