UTE approves a special financing plan for residential customers

Beneficiaries of the INAU will access work internships in the Presidency of the Republic

In response to the situations that affected residential customers during the pandemic, this Thursday the company’s Board of Directors approved a special financing plan with very beneficial payment facilities.

For customers included in the Electricity Social Bonus, a debt payment facility of up to 60 installments will be granted. No fines, surcharges or interest will be applied, also exonerating some energy concepts so that the monthly installments do not exceed $300.

For the rest of the residential clients, the financing will be up to 48 installments. The amount to be financed will be that corresponding to the last 12 unpaid invoices, and no fines, surcharges or interest will be applied. If the customer has more unpaid bills, they will be put on hold for one year pending verification of good payment behaviour.

In both cases, the installments will begin to be applied to the October invoices, so as not to overload the winter invoices.

UTE will communicate individually with each client to provide detailed information on their particular case.
