On the night of Sunday 22nd, on the occasion of the Technical Week celebrations, the city was filled with noise from the celebrations of students, former students and teachers of Industrial School No. 32, especially on the main streets of the city and especially the main square due to the excessive use of fireworks.
In addition, with the use of fireworks and the crazy bulls that were set on fire in the square and on Lima Street, the school held the traditional “Parade of Lights”, where the excessive use of pyrotechnic devices could be clearly seen in the heart of the city, with the high risk of causing a large fire due to the existence of high-tension cables. The smoke was another inconvenience for the inhabitants of the place.
According to the school’s director, Oscar Deudor, the acts were committed by former students from Industriales. The neighbors asked that the environment be protected and asked the directors of the educational institutions to prohibit the use of fireworks, rockets and bombs in the parades on the occasion of the anniversary.
