The beneficiaries who first registered in 2021 will lose their status on November 7, 2025 if they do not complete the process. The measure was adopted after a federal judge ordered the Government
Donald Trump’s administration opened until midnight from Saturday to Sunday the website for Venezuelan migrants, covered by the temporal protection status (TPS), can renew this benefit, which allows them to reside and work legally in the United States.
The measure was adopted after a federal judge ordered the Government to comply with a previous ruling that restored the TPS, a migratory benefit that Trump tried to eliminate.
The citizenship and immigration service (USCIS) enabled the registration portal after complaints from migrant defense organizations, which alerted about the lack of access to renew the status before the deadline.
Venezuelan TPS headlines must be re -registered this Saturday, September 13 before midnight on the east coast (21:00 local time on the west coast) or will lose their immigration protection.

The beneficiaries who first registered in 2021 will lose their status on November 7, 2025 if they do not complete the process.
«We call on the Venezuelan community to disseminate this important and very close victory. The Government tried to challenge a court order, but we refuse to afford it, ”said José Palma, coordinator of the National Alliance of the TPS, in a statement.
With the current extension, all Venezuelan TPS holders, both those registered in 2021 and 2023, may maintain their status and employment authorization until October 2, 2026.
The legal complaint presented by representatives of migrants seeks to protect two groups: the nearly 250,000 Venezuelans who received TPS in 2021, whose amparo beat September 10, and the approximately 350,000 beneficiaries of the expansion granted in 2023.
