US launches website where it rewrites version of the invasion of the Capitol

The White House aired a website official with Donald Trump’s version of the invasion of the Capitol on January 6, 2021 and which also justifies the presidential pardon for those involved in the action that day.US launches website where it rewrites version of the invasion of the Capitol

THE website brings at its opening a large photo of former Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi, who the current administration blames for the demonstration.

“President Trump made the decision to pardon the January 6th protesters who were unfairly targeted, prosecuted and used as political examples. They were not protected by leaders, who failed. They were punished to cover up incompetence”, says an excerpt.

The text attacks Pelosi head-on, accusing her of “manufacturing a narrative insurrection and placing the blame on President Trump.”

“The Democrats cleverly reversed the reality after January 6th, turning peaceful patriotic protesters into ‘insurrectionists’ and classifying the event as a violent coup orchestrated by Trump – despite there being no evidence of armed rebellion or intent to overthrow the government.”

Elsewhere, the text also states that the 2020 presidential election, won by Joe Biden, was rigged.

A timeline published on the virtual page begins with Trump calling on Americans to go to the capital Washington, on that 6th, and then giving his speech.

Afterwards, the “patriots” march towards the capitol and continue with the then president defeated in the elections asking the protesters to calm down.

Royal invasion

On January 6, 2021, after a speech by Donald Trump, who had been defeated by Joe Biden in the US elections, protesters went to the Capitol, where the US Congress operates, to protest against the certification of the Democratic politician as the new president.

Faced with the invasion, the police and the National Guard had to intervene and there was a confrontation. Five people died, including a police officer, and several were injured.

Several protesters supporting the then president were arrested, tried and convicted. When he returned to power in 2025, Trump granted pardons to the protesters.
