US Embassy doubles the number of tourist visa interviews

The consular section of the United States Embassy in Panama stated this Friday that they have offered more than double the number of interviews for B1/B2 tourist visas.

According to the North American consulate, the idea is to reduce waiting times to receive care.

“Today we offered more than 700 interviews for B1/B2 tourist visas, more than double the daily average,” they said, assuring that they work with staff from all over the world to reduce the waiting time for tourist visa interviews caused by the pandemic.

They also indicated that if you need to renew your visa, it is possible for eligible candidates to send their applications through the authorized courier service, thanks to the interview waiver program.
