US Embassy advises Nicaraguans to “personally” collect their documents to avoid being extorted

The United States embassy in Nicaragua insisted that Nicaraguans pick up their documents “in person” at the office of the logistics company CargoTrans that they selected and thus avoid being extorted for the delivery of their documents.

“CAREFUL! We advise you to pick up your documents in person at the CargoTrans office you selected!” reiterated the Washington embassy in Managua, through its Twitter account.

He added that “many agencies or lawyers extort hundreds of dollars from their clients to deliver their already authorized documents.”
