205 Venezuelan migrants were deported from the United States (USA) to the country via Honduras. The Mission Return to the Homeland reported through the telegram account that there were 184 men and 21 women.
According to official figures, 9,889 Venezuelans have returned to their country on 54 flights since the beginning of the year, when Caracas and Washington, without diplomatic relations since 2019, signed a deportation agreement.
Last Friday, 207 migrants deported by the US, including 17 minors, arrived in Venezuela on a flight from Texas, authorities then reported.
The Ministry of Interior and Justice said that “this flight reaffirms the commitment of the Venezuelan government to guarantee the worthy and safe return of those who decided to return to their land.”
