US consumer confidence rebounds in December

Consumers’ 12-month inflation expectations fell to 6.7%, the lowest level since September 2021, from 7.1% last month.

The current situation index, based on consumers’ assessment of current business and employment conditions, rose to 147.2 from 138.3 the previous month.
