The objective of the citation would be to warn him that he can be returned to prison if he continues with his peaceful activism in favor of democracy in Cuba. “Without a doubt, the intention is to threaten me again that they will return me to prison if I continue with my peaceful activism for freedom, democracy and well -being of my people,” he said, after remembering the multiple imprisonment he has suffered.
The opponent, leader of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU), was deprived of liberty in 2003 and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
