Uruguay registers two cases of Monkeypox

Through its social networks, the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) issued figures on Monkeypox in the country.

From the health portfolio, it was stated that there were 10 cases that were discarded, while there are currently two active ones. In addition, there are a total of 3 potential positive cases, which were framed as “suspicious”.

The ministry reported that “any suspected case must be immediately notified to the Department of Public Health Surveillance by one of the following means: by phone at 1934 4010 or by e-mail at [email protected].”
