The Foreign Minister of Uruguay, Francisco Bustillo, assured on Wednesday morning that his country reaffirms its “power to negotiate with third countries outside the zone”, and that will advance in this sense “with our partners” of Mercosur or, failing that, “individually”.
Bustillo made the announcement in the framework of the meeting of the Council of the Common Market, of the Sixtieth Mercosur Summit that takes place at the headquarters of the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol), in the Paraguayan city of Luque.
