Lawyer Joadel Bravo reported this Monday that more than 60 co-owners of the Urubó Golf urban project are filing a new lawsuit for fraud and swindling against the legal representatives and investors of the urbanization.
“We have a letter signed just today by 60 to 70 people who are communicating to Urubó Golf that they are experiencing the problems they are experiencing (…). A new group of residents of Urubó Golf is going to file a new complaint for the crime of fraud, for the crime of swindling, because there are also circumstances of liens that have weighed on the properties, the company has disposed of certain land without the consent of my clients,” said Bravo.

The jurist recalled that there is already a complaint by 100 co-owners against the legal representatives of Urubó Golf for the crime of fraud, he indicated that the denouncing co-owners invested up to two million dollars and that in more than eight years the houses with the conditions promised.
“They made them believe that they were going to have a piece of land with a golf club and that this was going to enhance the value of my clients’ land, but after eight years there is no money and in a conversation that the representatives of Urubó Golf have had, they stated that this money they had already invested in another development. They have problems with the work staff, with other creditors, the truth is that they don’t have the money,” said Bravo.
Previously, the businessman and representative of the Urubó Golf real estate company, Carlos Kinn, denied that there is any scam in the construction of houses for this project, although he admitted that there are “non-compliances” in the conclusion of the works.
The Urubó Golf urban development project is located in the municipality of Porongo de Santa Cruz and extends over 183 hectares, with lots of 1,000 square meters that are sold between 80,000 and 150 thousand dollars.
