They go ahead. Daniel Urresti (Podemos Perú) and Rafael López Aliaga (Popular Renovation) lead the voting intention for the Mayor of Limaahead of the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections, according to the latest survey conducted by Ipsos Peru for América Televisión.
The survey revealed that Urresti Elera has 26% supportclosely followed by Lopez Aliaga, with a 22%. Behind both is George Forsyth (Somos Peru), with 9%.
The list continues with Elizabeth León (Hope Front), Gonzalo Alegría (Together for Peru), Yuri Castro (Free Peru), and Omar Chehade (Alliance for Progress). Each of them has 2% voting intention.
The study also detailed that 12% of those surveyed plan to vote white or flawed in the election for mayor of Lima in the elections on October 2. Meanwhile, the 21% do not require an answer.
It should be remembered that some 24 million Peruvians are called to participate in the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections.
According to the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE), 25 regional governors, 25 deputy governors and 342 regional councilors will also be elected in these elections.
Electoral Ethical Pact
The Electoral Ethical Pact (PEE), promoted by the National Elections Jury (JNE), will be signed on August 17 by the political parties that participate in the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections, through which they commit to the development of a campaign that privileges mutual respect and the practice of democratic values.
The ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Convention Center of the Departmental Council of Lima of the College of Engineers of Peru and will be broadcast live on TV Peru, the JNETV channel (Movistar channel 516) and institutional social networks.
