Urban teachers from San Matías marched demanding a salary increase and better working conditions

This Tuesday morning, teachers from the urban area in San Matías carried out a march that started from Kinder Wálter Otto Netz and toured the main streets of San Matías, to conclude in a rally at the gates of the District Directorate of Education.

The teachers, with posters in hand, They demanded a salary increase and better working conditions. to perform their duties, especially during the return to face-to-face classes in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Luis Marañón, leader of the Urban teachers, reported that a delegation of teachers traveled to the city of La Paz to reinforce the movements that are programmed from the Magisterium on a national scale.

This is the first march of the teachers in the year, whatthat joins the national mobilization of urban teachers from the country. Other measures that may be instructed by the Confederation of Urban Education Workers of Bolivia (CTEUB) are not ruled out.

Also, it was reported that 50 urban teachers from different towns of Chiquitania They traveled to La Paz to join the mobilizations.
