The Federation of Urban Teachers of Santa Cruz filed a complaint with the Prosecutor for alleged influence peddling over item designation administrative staff in Plan Tres Mil.
They accuse the Minister of Education, the departmental director, the deputy director and the district director of that populous area.
“They have believed that it was going to stay only on social networks. We are, we, with the full conviction that we are on the side of justice, and that (the supposed influence peddling) has been committed,” said Osmar Cabrera, executive of the Santa Cruz urban teachers. the federation objects that there is no compulsa or contest of merits to fill the positions in the Plan Tres Mil district.
In addition, he indicated that he will do the necessary follow-up so that their rights are respected: “(…) The authorities have believed that the Magisterium is their employment agency, we are not going to allow it and therefore, the teachers here, both because of the via union as well as through the courts, We are going to continue fighting and educating to enforce rights”.
For his part, Ludbin Salazar, representative of the Confederation of Urban Education Workers of Bolivia (Cteub), who accompanied the teachers from Santa Cruz, pointed out that his organization supports them and will join to the complaint.
From the Communication unit of the Ministry of Education they indicated that they will be informed about the complaint, they will follow it up and, later, they will pronounce on it.
