UPV completed the refoundation process

During an act held this Thursday, July 25, the Venezuelan Popular Unity (UPV) party culminated its refoundation process, with the confirmation of its “unrestricted support for the government of President Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian revolution,” according to the Secretary General of that political band, Edgar Rodríguez.

Among the main commitments assumed during this process, UPV assures that it ratifies the task of continuing in the social struggle with the Venezuelan people, according to Yesenia Carvajal, national secretary of the UPV women’s movement.

The act was attended by 4 delegates from each state of the country, summoned to the extraordinary national assembly of the party founded by Lina Ron.

As a result, the municipal and parish structures that did not exist were formed and that the party will route within its own statutes, as announced by the second vice president of the party organization, Luis Rangel, refers to a press release.

The UPV authorities They reiterated the call to all factions of the party and other revolutionary groups to join the new refounded political force. Similarly, they insisted on the need for the authorities to recognize the legality of this organization.
