UPSA is the university with the best corporate reputation in Bolivia

The UPSA is, for the eighth consecutive year, the university with the best corporate reputation in Bolivia, According to the ranking just published by the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco) Ninth Edition, entity of international prestige based in Spain and present in 16 countries and that it is a benchmark monitor in Latin America.

“We are proud and grateful to all those who valued our University, placing it in the first place. This commits us to continue making the greatest efforts to train leading professionals and entrepreneurs with ethics and a global vision and also contribute from what we do to the environment with our Campus Green, and have a positive impact on society with our social responsibility programs”, said the rector Lauren Müller de Pacheco.

On April 6, Merco published the ranking corresponding to the 2021 management, in which the UPSA appears in first place in the Training Category, that takes into account universities from all over the country. It is an independent, free study, whose methodology is public and auditable.

In addition to the First Place in Training, the Private University of Santa Cruz de la Sierra received recognition for the efforts and activities carried out and that allow it to be considered among the 10 companies with the highest ESG Responsibility (Environment, Ethics and Governance), while in the Ranking of the 100 institutions with the highest corporate reputation, UPSA rose from position 13 to position 11.

For her part, the rector of the UPSA, Lauren Müller de Pacheco, appears in the third position among the leading womens most valued in Bolivia. In all cases, these are the highest placements attributed to universities in the country by independent evaluators.

Merco is a monitor created in 1999 that works with extreme rigor, in addition to total transparency because the methodology and weighting are available on its website and it is an audited study, explained from Madrid José María San Segundo, global director of Merco and entity dedicated to Analysis and Research.

The result of the valuations that Merco obtained has as sources of information 286 managers, 51 financial analysts50 economic information journalists, 51 Dircoms and opinion leaders, 50 NGO managers, 50 trade union representatives, 51 social media managers, 51 business area professors, 52 Social Responsibility experts and 1,031 consumers.
