Given the problems for the availability and access to the necessary treatments to combat this disease, some specialized insurances have been created.
These insurances can cover sums ranging from 400,000 pesos to 1 million pesos, depending on the insurer hired.
Applicants’ age requirements range from 0 years old in some insurers, up to 65 years old.
