Until July 12 will be the selection process for Public Defender

The president of the Judicial Nominations Committee of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, reported that, from this Thursday, July 7, until next Tuesday, July 12, the second phase of the selection process will take place, which corresponds to the objections of the citizens aspiring to the position of Public Defender of the Republic, presented this Wednesday.

“I want to congratulate these citizens who took a step forward in applying for this very important position in the Justice System, such as the General Public Defender’s Office,” said Deputy Alessandrello in a television broadcast.

For his part, the vice president of the Judicial Nominations Committee, José Gregorio Correa, thanked the nominees for their trust in the national parliament, as well as their willingness to build a justice system that is available to all Venezuelans.

“Each Venezuelan will be able to object to any of their names and they will have the possibility to make the objections, in case they have any objection”, underlined the parliamentarian Correa.
