They find all the love letters of Juana de Ibarbourou in Buenos Aires

They find unpublished material about Juana de Ibarbourou in Buenos Aires, “the love letters of the writer Juana and the Argentine scientist Eduardo de Robertis.” Her letters were forgotten for decades in a closet at the Faculty of Medicine and chance made them available to none other than the Argentine Narrator who investigated Juana’s life, the university professor Laura Benítez López, who writes under the pseudonym Aurea Cruz.

Dozens of love letters between the two, a very intense romance according to the text of these words that they wrote at the end of 1930.

The Argentine narrator, professor Laura Beatriz López, managed to write a work, it is a monologue based on Juana’s life where the central theme will be the romance with Robertis, using the unpublished letters as a spiral for the development of the show.

He intends to reach Melo to offer the show as part of the tribute to Juana. It was the writer Diego Fischer who tells us that Dr. De Robertis rescued Juana from addiction and that he inspired the poems of “Jasmine of midnight and noon.”

However, the relationship did not prosper. There was almost 20 years difference between them.

This relationship was only known through letters that time dusted off. Something else united them, as they both shared an unfinished glory: they were both nominated for the Nobel Prize.

Dr. De Robertis continued his career in Argentina with the brilliance of a generation of professionals made in the school of Professor Bernardo Houssay. De Robertis was a member of the board of directors of Conicet and founder of the World Cultural Council.
