Unofficial: Collapse at Bosco's Bullita mine leaves more dead again

According to information published on the social network X, more than 25 miners were buried underground and another group is injured after being trapped.

Unofficially, it was reported, this Sunday, December 22, that a collapse occurred in a large part of Bosco’s Bullita mine in the El Carmen sector, via El Dorado, which caused the death of nine people.

According to information published on the social network X, more than 25 miners were buried underground and another group is injured after being trapped. “Several people have already been taken out alive and have been transferred to health centers,” reads the published information.

Supposedly the collapse is due to the rainfall that is falling in the area. The information published highlighted that so far the collapse caused motorcycles that were on top of some ravines to sink, as well as materials and miners who were sitting near the ravines.

The deceased are supposedly from the towns of Tumeremo, El Dorado, Ciudad Bolívar and Upata.
