A new attack on the retreat of a farm took place last night in the area known as Chirigüelo, in the district of Cerro Corá, department of Amambay. The building and various machinery were incinerated.
Unknown persons attacked last night the retreat of the “Santa Bianca” ranch in the Raúl Ocampos Rojas neighborhood (former Chirigüelo), as confirmed by the spokesman for the Joint Task Force (FTC), Lt. Col. Luis Apesteguia.
He detailed that the criminal gang, made up of around six people, had long weapons and camouflaged clothing at the time of entering this establishment, owned by a Brazilian citizen named Luis Carlos Baggio.
Subsequently, they reduced three laborers who were in the place and proceeded to set fire to the retreat along with two tractors, a tank and a motorcycle.
In their flight, they also fired a few shots at a nearby tree, although no injuries were reported.
As Apesteguía mentioned to C9N, the attackers did not identify themselves with any terrorist group, so it cannot be confirmed with certainty whether they were members of the EPP or another criminal gang.
