University students ask young people to dedicate “a day to Venezuela” on #28Jul

The president of the FCU-UCV, Jesús Mendoza, assured that university students are organized throughout the country to accompany the electoral process as mobilizers, witnesses and defenders of the vote.

“Dedicate a day to Venezuela” was the campaign created by a group of university students to encourage youth participation in the presidential elections on July 28.

This was announced by Jesus Mendoza, president of the Federation of University Centers from the UCV, in a statement to the press. He stated that “the political participation (of young people) is essential to change the course of what is happening in the country.”

Mendoza called on all young people over 18 years of age, registered in the Electoral Registry, to be “protagonists of the future (…) We are inviting young people to vote, to dedicate a day to Venezuela and to get up and vote for our country.”

“On July 28, it is essential and indispensable that there be political participation by young people, because it is essential and necessary that we change the course of what is happening and the economic and political situation in Venezuela. On July 28, young people are going to vote for change,” reiterated the president of the FCU-UCV.

He also said that university students are organized throughout the country to accompany the electoral process as mobilizers, witnesses and defenders of the vote.
