This morning the National Accreditation Commission (CNA) held a meeting and ruled on the accreditation of the Andrés Bello University, recognizing this university in the select group of universities qualified at the level of Excellence, and granting it 6 years of institutional accreditation in all areas.
It should be noted that in Chile only 13 universities -including UNAB- are qualified at the level of excellence of the CNA, and of these only 3 are non-traditional private universities.
The rector of UNAB, Julio Castro, was very satisfied and stated that “the National Accreditation Commission ratified something for which we as a community have been working for decades and that is the iron commitment to quality. This accreditation places us at the level of excellence of the CNA, that is, within the select group of the best universities in Chile. It is a step that makes us proud and that gives us the opportunity to start a new stage with more challenges”.
The highest university authority added that “next year our new Institutional Strategic Plan will come into force, which looks to the future with ambition and deepens our commitment to providing more and better opportunities for our students, strictly adhering to the quality of training, innovating and connecting more with our environment. We are and we want to continue being a contribution to the development of our community and the country”.
It should be noted that this Institutional Accreditation is the fifth received by the Andrés Bello University, which accounts for the commitment of its entire community to quality, thus meeting the expectations of its students, families and society in general.
