The tragedy occurred today at 10:40 in the morning. Agents from the Huayucachi district police station and Polcar Pampas, went to kilometer 147 of the Huancayo – Huancavelica road, after receiving an alert about a damaged unit. There they saw at the bottom of the abyss a metallic silver car that would have been confused and overturned until it fell.

The agent who lost her life is SO3 Betzy Machacuay Jaramillo, who was ejected from the vehicle and was found meters from it. The injured police officer was identified as SO3 Junior Cancho Rosales and they found him inside the vehicle with license plate ARA-369.
