A week before its strike call expires, the Single Union of Nuclear Industry Workers (SUTIN) accused the administration of the National Institute for Nuclear Research (ININ) of refusing to negotiate, despite the fact that a district judge in matter of work ordered him to initiate conciliatory talks.
Manuel García Barajas, general secretary of the union, pointed out that last February 25 was the date set by the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registration (CFCRL) to begin the review of the collective bargaining agreement (CCT). However, the ININ representative refused and filed an injunction arguing that the petition was not submitted in a timely manner
.
In an interview, he stated that the CFCRL responded to the institute that the trade union organization properly met deadlines
which, he said, was ratified by the district judge attached to the Federal Labor Court for Collective Affairs.
García Barajas argued that with such a decision the rights of the SUTIN are left safe and the site remains in force
since to date, the ININ’s legal representative, Víctor Morales, informed them that they still had no answer as to whether or not the amparo proceeded.
The union leader commented that they have held five meetings as dates attempts to sit down to negotiate, but they insist on refusing
. In fact, he added, while in the first four Carlos Cabrera appeared as legal representative, Morales attended last Tuesday’s meeting.
The above is considered as delaying tactics
since in both cases they are officials who have presented themselves and that they lack the power to negotiate and decide
about the TCC.
As part of its petition, the SUTIN seeks to negotiate a 15 percent daily wage increase, in addition to modifying 23 clauses, including 17, on work performed by third parties, and 38, which refers to evaluations. for professionals, researchers, administrative and technical personnel and that have not been applied since 2005.
