international organization UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) reached the figure of $31,638,930 in his television marathon “Together for Childhood”broadcast this Saturday by all the channels of Uruguay.
The program was hosted by various communicators and national entertainment figures such as Rafael Cotelo, Noelia Etcheverry, Lucía Brocal, Germán Medina, Federico Paz and Jimena Sabarisand was attended by several Unicef ambassadors: the actress and singer Natalia Oreirothe former soccer player Diego Forlan and the communicator Julian Weichambassador of Unicef Argentina.
There was also space for live music, with performances by the singer matias valdez and the band The furywhich closed the six-hour marathon live.
under the motto “Put on your T-shirt”Unicef showed its “lines of work” to “to promote and protect the rights of children and adolescents in Uruguay”, according to the agency in a statement.
