The Ministry of Economy will put up for sale 113 properties managed by the Secretary of Heritage of the Union (SPU) and the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), in Rio Grande do Sul.
The initiative is part of the 5th edition of the Feirão de Imóveis SPU, a series of events that the ministry has held to publicize the Property Acquisition Proposal (PAI) – a mechanism resulting from the approval of the Law No. 14,011of June 2020, and which allows any person or company to present its proposal for the purchase of residential or commercial properties belonging to the Union.
In the first four editions of the Feirão, properties were offered for sale in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and the Federal District. In this fifth edition, there are properties for various purposes, of different sizes, in the cities of Alecrim, Bagé, Barra do Quaraí, Butiá, Cacequi, Canoas, Carlos Barbosa, Caxias do Sul, Cruz Alta, Erechim, Giruá, Imbé, Ijuí, Ilópolis, Itaqui, Osório, Pelotas, Porto Alegre, Rio Grande, Santa Maria, Santana do Livramento, Santo Ângelo, São Borja, São Gabriel, São Leopoldo, São Luiz Gonzaga, São Pedro do Sul, Torres, Uruguaiana, Três Passos, Tramandaí , Vacaria, Veranópolis and Viamão.
Among the 113 properties available in Rio Grande do Sul, there are from land of 170 square meters (m²), to plots of 450 thousand m², including the Álvaro Alvim Hospital building, in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, which has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic.
The list of assets that will be auctioned soon was presented today (11), in Porto Alegre, by the Secretaries of Privatization, Divestment and Markets, Diogo Mac Cord, and of Coordination and Governance of Union Heritage, Fabiana Rodopoulos
To offer its acquisition proposal, the interested party that is not yet registered in the gov.br portal must create your digital account. Then just access the portal salesgovfill in a form with your personal data, identify the property of your interest and make the proposal, which will be evaluated by the Secretariat for Coordination and Governance of Union Heritage, of the Ministry of Economy.
If the proposal is accepted, the interested party must provide, within 30 days, an appraisal report of the property, based on which the ministry will prepare a public tender notice in order to verify if there are other interested parties in the same asset. The original bidder has preference in the eventual offer of bids and, if he does not acquire the good, he will be reimbursed for the expenses with the evaluation of the property.
