Unemployment withdrawals from the Afores add up to 2,025 million pesos

In the first quarter of the year, a total of 451,237 workers made withdrawals for 5,135.5 million pesos

Afores Coppel, Banorte and Azteca were the administrators with the most withdrawals, followed by Citibanamex, Sura and Profuturo.

Unemployment withdrawals began a substantial increase since the start of the pandemic, when thousands of workers requested this support after losing their jobs.

Workers who wish to request this help must have worked in the past for the formal sector and be registered with the IMSS, have been unemployed for more than 60 days and not have requested this help in the last 5 years.
