The day the world comes together to give
The 3rd edition of the global solidarity movement is taking place from November 29 to December 5.
More than 40 civil society organizations joined in the first two editions and this year they will once again mobilize hundreds of people and resources for their campaigns and objectives.
After the success of the first editions, #UnDiaParaDar seeks to continue promoting solidarity in Paraguay and that together, friends, colleagues, family members, give more support to the participating NGOs, through donations or activities that they organize.
#UnDiaParaDar is the global solidarity movement that promotes the culture of cooperation and collaboration through donations and volunteering, in favor of hundreds of organizations of the most diverse causes. Driven by the power of innovation and collaboration, #UnDíaParaDar (#GivingTuesday in English) is celebrated in more than 80 countries around the world, with the participation of millions of individuals, families, organizations, businesses and schools.
Its objective is that solidarity has a day to be celebrated all over the world at the same time, infecting and inspiring everyone to take positive actions, seeking to install a new culture of solidarity in which the protagonists commit that day to GIVE or DO something concretely, to generate a force of positive and transforming impact that allows organizations to continue working.
#UnDiaParaDar Paraguay is an open movement in which any person, family, foundation, social organization, public institution, school, university or company, neighbors, shops and restaurants in the neighborhood can participate through the projects that are in the platform www.undiaparadar.org.py.
This initiative is possible in Paraguay thanks to the support of PRO ONG, Fundación Visión, Fundación Operación Sonrisa, Enseña por Paraguay, Techo Paraguay, Fundación Florencia, as promoting entities.
