This, in the context of the migration crisis. Regarding the measure, Galli stated that “all authorities” must make efforts to control the irregular entry of immigrants.
“Here we have to make an effort all the authorities. All State bodies have to make decisions, they have to do their part so that we manage to contain clandestine income and adequately manage the migratory phenomenon,” said the undersecretary.

With the State of Exception, the military will provide support to the police in safeguarding public order.
“We are going to have to advance in much more than police deployment to achieve that result,” Galli said, adding that “expulsion processes, conversations and probably there will have to be a comprehensive regional strategy to reduce the incentives to leave Venezuela”.
“What has been coordinated is the deployment of the Armed Forces, because this is not going to be just a strengthening of the police and military presence on the border itself, but also strengthening controls throughout all these provinces in such a way that to be able to control that the rules in our country are being complied with,” continued the Undersecretary of the Interior.
“For this there will be a deployment of more than 600 military officials and a strengthening of the police presence on the border,” he added.
